Illegal Alien Murders Homeless Man in Annandale, VA

Fairfax News

Police are not releasing the name of the homeless victim murdered in Annandale yesterday, April 2cd.  Meanwhile, the Illegal Alien charged with the murder is Ubaldo Lopez Yanez, aged 31  of no fixed address.

Residents were asked to vacate their homes in the predominantly latino arpartment in Annandale where the suspected murder by Yanez occurred around 3pm.

Police say they were called to 4200 block of Wadsworth Court Thursday afternoon for a report of an unresponsive man.

Annandale is known for it’s diversity, and multicultural mix.  Korean, Vietnamese, Latinos, Blacks and White all live in this quiet and virtually crime free suburb of Fairfax County.   As a rule, Annandale is very low crime.   Murders are unheard of in Annandale, with most police incidents occur due to traffic violations in school zones.   Most of the ethnic groups tend to congregate in various sections, with apartments especially favored by different minorities.   So called a “Minority Majority”  Annandale doesn’t quite fit that definition, because the single largest minority is still white.  The Wadsworth building tends to be favored by a majority of Latino residents.   They could be seen standing outside, and on TV as the story broke yesterday afternoon.   Although the roads leading into the building were blocked, rush hour traffic along Little River was unempeded.  At least it wasn’t raining, that would have put the largely Latino residences and their kids outside on the sidewalk getting wet.

Fairfax Police generally, when they have little or no evidence to go on, will ask for the Public’s help.   Social N drove by the crime scene yesterday, and saw all the residents of Wadsworth standing outside their apartment buildings for hours, gawking at the crime scene.  It would stand to reason, if any of them had something to add to the Investigation, they would have volunteered, or might have volunteered some clues had the local police asked them.
